About This Project

This website is a part of a community project that started in 2014 to improve maternity care in our region. The project engaged all maternity care providers: family physicians, midwives, obstetricians, patients, Interior Health, and allied health professionals. The over-arching goal of the project is to develop a sustainable model of primary care, one that keeps all provider groups practicing and is supportive of patient choice.
